The model depicts a vehicle left by the Russians during their invasion of Ukraine 2022. Locals poured petrol on it and set it alight. I depict this as burned paint on the left side. The message says 'Rockets, don't burn'!

This kit was beautifully engineered and fit very well. There are over 1,200 parts, so construction was very time consuming. The suspension (which you can't see) was particularly challenging! Choosing the camouflaged paint scheme proved character building. Spraying the thin black outlines required considerable airbrushing effort.

This mobile surface-to-air missile was used by both Russia and Ukraine during the war. Each tube fires a ​9M83 (SA-12a Gladiator) missile, which has a maximum range between 75 and 90 km.
